The sample wire is submersed in the container full of metal shot (or other conductive grains) and then High Voltage manually increased up to failure.
The unit has two ranges 0-200VAC (CB 0.03Amps) and 0-3500VAC (CB 0.65Amps). Main CB is 4 Amps. The test sample is inside a protective cover that activates safety switches to ensure no contact with operator can occur.
The unit was built in Australia to Australian wiring rules and was last calibrated 8/2/13.
Ideally this item would be pick up only but I can help with freight - it would require a wood box to package up.
