This is a Strand-to-Strand tester designed and built by myself. This tests the insulation between HV coil or Bar strands and the strands DC resistance. The insulation is tested between each strand and all others at 250VAC (can be changed by replacing the transformer) and the strand resistance is measured by injecting 10ADC and measuring voltage drop.
The system is automated for up to 64 strands and threshold levels for pass/fail can be set. I have a full manual with the design that would come with the equipment.
The panel (600mm wide x 800mm high x 300mm deep, approx 40-50kg) has been removed from the wheeled frame and operates off a 240VAC supply, and requires a safety foot switch (or similar) to operate.
